The event drew entrants from afar and for those who were making a weekend of it, the track was available for a practice session on Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 6pm.Sunday's Autumn Classic event attracted 15 racers for the Policar GP and the 2 hour enduro for Sports/GT cars from 1965 – 1975.

     

The Policar GP commenced at 11am with qualifying heats of15 laps. Then into the step up finals of 20 laps. At the conclusion the top 3 were local members, 1st Alan Shawe, 2nd John English, 3rd Paul English. Top visitor was David Farrow from Rockingham Slot Car Club.

The afternoon session was taken up with a 2 hour endurance race with the most completed laps taking the prize. At the finish, the locals didn’t have it all their own way with Mick Kerr from Rockingham Slot Car Club taking 3rd but only 3 lap sections behind 2nd placed John English and top spot went to Alan Shawe.
