A: - Any F.1 car from 1961 to 1989 inclusive. No Indy cars. To reasonable scale   + / - 1.5mm. Must have minimum 1mm ground clearance. No widened bodies.

B: - Policar F.1 cars.

Small - Any under 2 litre 4 seater European, Jap or American saloon car pre 1988 including hatchbacks and coupe derivatives. Max width 58mm.

Large - Any over 2 litre 4 seater European, Jap or American saloon car pre 1988 including hatchbacks and coupe derivatives. Max width 64mm.

A: George Turner 1/24th Mk.1 Minis

B: Any 1/24th scale pre 1975 saloon car, never produced with an engine over 2 litres and no wider than 74mm (the width of a BRM Escort.)

GENERAL RULES

A) The above list contains the only acceptable changes, anything else is NOT acceptable. If in doubt, please ask before racing the car.

B) Motors can be any allowable motor listed by Pendles, or any specified motor listed on the alternative motor sources page. (Page being developed and will be published ASAP.) New versions of motors, tyres, cars, chassis, etc, launched during the season will be allowed mid-season, only after consultation with all attending club members.

C) The only cleaning products allowed for tyres is sticky tape. Lighter fluid can be used to clean braids but NOT tyres.Tyre treatment using 3 in1 or similar oil allowed but not on club premises - tyres must be dry.

D) Please note that all RTR slot cars have play in the front/rear axles, bearings, gears, guide. We expect your cars to display the same characteristics.

E) All classes allow weight to be added but must be Lead or Bluetack only, must not be visible from above

F) To allow everybody to have a turn, practice session will be a maximum of 3 minutes duration.

G) Scrutineering will take place on a RANDOM basis across all race nights. Scrutineers are: Mark, Alan, Joel, John, Noel and Race Controller.

H) In classes which use a standard unmodified chassis but allow any guide, the guide must be fitted without any modification to the chassis.

I) All motors in all classes are unmodified and MUST NOT have been opened.

J) All motors in all classes where there is no wrapper or no identification marker it must have the brand and revs scratched into the can surface in a legible manner.
The motor can then be scrutineered against this declared rpm.

K) The word STANDARD used above means STANDARD AS ORIGINALLY SUPPLIED with the car being raced.

L) Any rubber tyre means any rubber tyre listed on Pendle's website but does not have to be purchased from Pendle's.

M) In all classes, any braid can be used.

N) All classes will run on 13.0 volts.

O) Adopt Race Co-ordinator auto segments and drop 1/36th segments, change to percentage of lap, adjusted to 100th of a lap, 2 decimal places.
